ASMS Data Deletion Policy
Automatic Social Media Scheduler (ASMS) is a WordPress-based tool installed on this site (https://mansfield.engineering/asms) that helps schedule and publish content to supported social media platforms, including Facebook.
What data we store
ASMS itself does not create public user accounts for visitors. However, in order to function, it may store certain information in the WordPress database, including:
- Technical data needed to connect to social media APIs (for example, access tokens and page IDs for Facebook pages you explicitly connect).
- Scheduling information for posts (dates, times, target platforms, and content metadata).
- Basic WordPress-related data such as your site login information (for administrators and editors only), which is handled by WordPress itself.
ASMS does not collect passwords for your social media accounts, and it does not sell or share your data with third parties outside of the platforms you choose to connect (such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or LinkedIn).
Facebook Login and permissions
If you have connected ASMS to Facebook (for example, to publish posts to a Facebook Page), Facebook may share limited information with this site according to the permissions you grant in the Facebook Login dialog. This usually includes access tokens and basic page or profile information required to schedule and publish posts on your behalf.
You can revoke ASMS access to your Facebook data at any time by visiting your Facebook settings and removing the app from the list of authorized apps and websites.
How to request deletion of your data
If you would like any data related to your use of ASMS to be deleted from this site, you can submit a request using one of the methods below:
- By email: Send a request to team@philosophicalentertainment.com with the subject line “ASMS Data Deletion Request”. Please include:
- Your name
- The email address associated with your Facebook or other connected account
- Any relevant details (for example: “remove my Facebook page connection” or “delete all ASMS scheduling data linked to my account”).
- Via site contact form: You may also contact us through the ASMS contact page, if available, and clearly indicate that your message is a data deletion request.
Once we receive your request and verify your identity, we will:
- Remove associated access tokens and connection data from ASMS.
- Remove any ASMS-specific records that can reasonably be linked to you or your connected accounts (such as stored scheduling data).
- Confirm via email once the deletion has been completed, unless you request otherwise.
Data we may need to retain
In some cases, we may be required to retain certain information for legal, security, or administrative purposes (for example, server logs or records needed to meet accounting or compliance requirements). When that applies, we will delete all other data that is not legally required to be kept.
